weird take, but I actually think the stupid 5k resolution is going to catch on before 4k does for monitors
since nothing GPU intensive runs at 4k, and no streaming services bother with native 4k
to only usecase rn is productivity
and Apple/Microsoft are pushing 5k hard for industry/offices for some reason
Man if you really care to see the pores on peoples faces in movies I think you have a different problem

Considering your brain automatically applies motion to still images flashed rapidly should tell you that there is not really a difference
Your favorite movies are slower than 60fps of video games yet people are not out wanting moving to have more fps
