Xan is a wonderful person! We were in Mt, Jimmykers together. been a minute since talking with em though.
He was here, but he left at some point
and in case it's not obvious #rawb is our Rob chat, but like I said the majority of us stopped watching him at some point
I think a fair number stopped around Urealms S3, more when he had his Digital Bards meltdown, and then almost everyone else during the Megan breakup arc
i was a watcher back in the day then fell off until the recent DvZ started back up but now have stopped after recent ish drama and being banned from it all.
yeah, it's a shame honestly
I don't think the DvZ revival was that great, but mostly because I don't think Rob's take on how to do rp is fun, and he just made DvZ into "hangout with Rob and rp on stream"
LoM2 (had he stuck with it and released content for it faster) had a much better chance at capturing a fun rp vibe

The DvZ revival wa decent. it helped me find a lot of good friends, but it was def, if rob not here it aint nothing.
LoM2 was a way better environment for RP, but alas he didnt like getting called on his bullshit so he banned me and my mod team at mt, jimmykers.
it's a catch22, I think LoM2 was able to be enjoyable on its own, but because Rob didn't promote it or develop fast enough, it was always going to kind of wither and die off
a bunch of us were playing on launch, and other than the grind being overtuned and the afk fishing bots on the server being lame
it could have been a solid rp server
could have been a very good place for rp if done right, but his problem was waaaay to much feature creep, couldnt ever keep ideas down and took sooo long to do anything productive. way more concerned about his dono goals.
I think there is also the fundemental problem that the type of rp you can do is limited by the community, and no offence, but modern Rob fans are the last people I would every enjoy doing anything with
thats part of why I hated it anyways

I end up having this conversation alot when new people join
that's one of the aspects of Rob that I think most people point to when they say he's an asshole
Rob, cannot, under any circumstances maintain a personal and professional relationship with a person
he's more up-front about it with some people, but it's kind of absurd his innability to seperate that kind of stuff
also gratz on being his favorite, that's a lot of harem members to out-compete
Well, anything you are willing to drop would be interesting. PHIJKCHU post us no longer being Rob fans circa early urealms live season 3 actively likes to chronicle and archive rob lore because its funny
I mean, it is kind of crazy having a community you've been a part of for so long (Rob's been online what, 15 years or so at this point)
and then suddenly, *poof* he's blown it up again
Its also crazy that this has happened what, 6 or 7 distinct times
with totally distinct communities
Mans good at destorying everything, clawing back a fanbase, then destroying everything if nothing else
