Niso worked with Rob because it was a fun project and a fun community

You have some inherent ownership of something just by having made it, that is enough for 99% of things made
copyright is more so something you need for something being made by groups of people imo
to make it clear who owns what

we are mostly not about Rob (he does nothing now)
in general, trademarks, copyright, and patents are something people waste a lot of money on thinking they "need" it, but it's almost never a benefit
