I was kind of hopeful when guude didn't mention any sex crime stuff that things weren't too bad so it's sad to hear rob is still tangentially connected to crap like that
To be clear, I defend Rob on this
the girl was 17, it was not really a crime
Robs mistake was how he reacted
that's not why people got mad ^ yeah
Rob tried to blow it off, then got mad that it was leaked and punished the mod who leaked it
that is why people got pissed
people got mad because Rob censored talking about the weird guy who was creeping on people in the server
and then instead of apologizing when it got worse, Rob doubled down for some reason
He doesn't really care though, I don't think he's really been invested in the projects he's working on for the last ~year or so
yeah he is just cashing in on what random support he has left
He spends a couple hours a week coding stuff for LoM2, and writes 1-3 DvZ scenarios for the roleplay team
I don't follow any of his new stuff, somewhere around the start of sneaky cheese and Salazar the art thief I checked out

I can't say I don't miss it though, I mean obviously I'm here reminiscing about it, but I liked that old group content feel that buffalo wizards and mindcrack had

Yeah, I just watch highlights so I still get little bits of content which is nice to see Justin pop-up in, I know he went through some hard shit for awhile
I'm ool, Justin was doing really well in FL last I saw him
got in better shape and was doing numbers on Twitch
iirc, his mom died? or someone close in his family
but I don't keep up with him
I'm not sure about his mom passing but what I remember messing him up was his breakup, he had set up a lot of joint stuff and made big financial and life decisions with her and then it seems like she blindsided him by leaving suddenly, he had to like sell his house and move and was a wreck emotionally for months

Yeah I think it almost got there, but he seems to be doing better now that time has passed and he's moved on. He still makes some self-deprecating jokes about his appearance and fruitless love life, but I'm no psychiatrist so I don't want to read into it too seriously

afaik, he's working as a regional costco forklift supervisor in BC
but no one has problems with him as far as we know
