I found the website a couple weeks back when I was feeling nostalgic for urealms and didn't want to pay for robs crap, tonight the website wouldn't load for some reason and I found my way to the subreddit, immediately got sidetracked watching the guude video and now I'm here

So much I didn't know about the fall of mindcrack

I had basically zero of the mindcrack knowledge. We knew all the Rob stuff already though

The https://rawb.art IP changed, so if it's not working I'd recommend trying a different browser temporarily I think Chrome is pretty good at flushing DNS records pretty often, but sometimes it'll get hung up if one changes unexpectedly multiple times

So what's the deal with Coe, i followed him for awhile on twitch after urealms fell apart but he never seemed to talk about what happened

I didn't realize they were that much of a package deal. Coe seemed to take a rather big role in things especially with art and animation so I figured it was a separate connection

Everyone who works with Rob seesm to either decide to just never talk about it (Nisovin, Coe, Justin, Deadbones before he left again), or is threatened not to (Megan)

Yeah I guess at this point they've all moved on and would rather just forget the whole thing, I just hope the cycle doesn't repeat

I still check in on the guys who left mindcrack for hermit craft, hope that one doesn't self destruct

His most recent group imploded because his head mod Danidip covered up for for a sexpest in his server (who was also one of Robs friends)

this caused Robs entire minecraft mod team to quit, and most of his big donours to stop watching him

I feel like Minecraft is going to continue to go through peaks and valleys of popularity

As long as Hermitcraft intends to stay the course, they'll probably do fine

if people get worried and bail whenever MC numbers drop, then it might be more touchy

I was kind of hopeful when guude didn't mention any sex crime stuff that things weren't too bad so it's sad to hear rob is still tangentially connected to crap like that

To be clear, I defend Rob on this

the girl was 17, it was not really a crime

Robs mistake was how he reacted

that's not why people got mad ^ yeah

Rob tried to blow it off, then got mad that it was leaked and punished the mod who leaked it

that is why people got pissed

people got mad because Rob censored talking about the weird guy who was creeping on people in the server

and then instead of apologizing when it got worse, Rob doubled down for some reason

He doesn't really care though, I don't think he's really been invested in the projects he's working on for the last ~year or so

yeah he is just cashing in on what random support he has left

He spends a couple hours a week coding stuff for LoM2, and writes 1-3 DvZ scenarios for the roleplay team

I don't follow any of his new stuff, somewhere around the start of sneaky cheese and Salazar the art thief I checked out

good call lol

I can't say I don't miss it though, I mean obviously I'm here reminiscing about it, but I liked that old group content feel that buffalo wizards and mindcrack had

Best I've found similar is the NLSS

NL kind of fell off for me

and yeah, that group dynamic is rare as fuck to find now elsewhere

Yeah, I just watch highlights so I still get little bits of content which is nice to see Justin pop-up in, I know he went through some hard shit for awhile

I'm ool, Justin was doing really well in FL last I saw him

got in better shape and was doing numbers on Twitch

iirc, his mom died? or someone close in his family

but I don't keep up with him

I'm not sure about his mom passing but what I remember messing him up was his breakup, he had set up a lot of joint stuff and made big financial and life decisions with her and then it seems like she blindsided him by leaving suddenly, he had to like sell his house and move and was a wreck emotionally for months
