While I am sure we are not exactly the type of place most of the people who are modern (or at least were modern) rob fans would like, we are also one of the more comprehensive places having actively monitored Rob out of morbid curiosity beyond our own arc of being fans of his
i wasn't even been involved with the guy with the exception of the first 6 months he did stuff because nostalgia bait
it got boring quickly tbh
i heard there was controversy though so I came back since the people there were nice
Yeah, the "reboots" of DvZ and LoM are not good
DvZ just not being DvZ, and LoM being way too grindy and Rob not working on it at a reasonable pace
i don't think he's necessarily a bad game designer but I wouldn't say he's a great one either
I think he's a got a lot of good ideas but they're not very well executed

Rob can make genuinely well designed games
I think he just gave up on making anything actually good when he had is mental breakdown in 2019
He also gave up on actually being funny then
of course, I would hardly call modern dvz or lom a game at all
LoM is a game, its just designed as if it was a microtransaction filled game despite not having that
so much grinding for no return
