See, my take on it is a little different
Rob had unlimited potential and over the course of 15 years online made a LOT of wrong decisions, picked the wrong websites, wrong groups, wrong games, wrong projects to focus on, etc. etc.
and snapped in 2019 after an assortment of irl stuff in his life came crashing down
Everyone around him (who made different professional decisions) was wildly successfully and had a life he envied
I never liked the whole "Rob is a bad person" narrative
because he's an asshole within the normal bounds of being an asshole mostly
the drugs ---> mental illness pipeline really only started in the last couple years
recently, he tried to cover for a friend who got caught grooming people in his discord
which nuked his most recent fanbase
He is an asshole, but got away with it by being very funny
Rob does not believe you can work with friends
you're either a professional partner, or a friend
and people who move from one to the other, don't realize Rob thinks this way
you can forgive a lot if someone is funny
until much later on

TL;DR,
Rob torpedoed his career by cancelling urealms live
Since then stuff came out about how he abused Justin behind the scenes and was unpleasant to others
then more recently he had a bad breakup with Megan, and has almost no one left around him
his current arc is grifting what few fans he has left with a "remake" of DvZ and a new "LoM"
One of the mods will be around to vet you to the rest of the server
but yeah, Rob's kind of been in a death spiral for a while
drugs really exacerbated some mental illness problems he was dealing with, and he ended up driving away all of his friends/fans over the last few years
unrelated to Rob, but if you liked oniai, you should watch "because I don't like my big brother at all"

Replying to E-man #eman5245 Yeah I stopped watching him shortly after he ended urealms, but I always got the impression his mental health wasn’t the best.
his family committed him to a mental institution, which held him for the maximum allowed time of 1 month
once he got out, he was on meds for a while
and imo, he does seem to be better than he was when he was having near-weekly mental crisises
he's also seemingly cut down onthe hard drugs a bit
tbh, it's just sad to see at this point, he's talked about leaving the internet (and most people still loosly following him think he should tbh)
