Hello! Found this discord while browsing peertube. Watched Rob back in the day but haven't really kept up with the stuff aside from the Urealms reboot that petered out. Out of sheer curiosity, is there actually some drama with Rob or is it a meme? Or both? 🤨
And that's a new one, found via Peertube instances
Rob's still around, though he's essentially nuked his presence online and has had multiple mental breakdowns over the last few years
I wouldn't say there's really much drama now though
Ahaaa, makes sense. It was a bit confusing, since I figured an actual "hatedom" wouldn't actually bother to back up all his videos. Well, thank you for putting them in an accessible area! I was worried with blip being nuked (and the archive project of blip only saving 10%) that some of his stuff was gone forever
Yeah, there's stuff to resent Rob I er like the Megan breakup or the Justin leaks
But overall it's just kind of sad that he squandered his talent and took the community he had built for granted
It was a bit heartbreaking when the original forums went down 😦 That was my whole middle school social life
Zyron @PirateMan64 and myself were the only two old guard members from that era I think
No kidding? My handle was "Mastermind" back then, and the profile pic was two trees for awhile
Oh, if you weren't one of the folks from back then who bought Rob's DVD, that's up on the Peertube as well, including his behind the scenes bonus content that imo is pretty nostalgic

Yeah same. I don't particularly remember anyone either- it's like 15 years ago
Most of the guys on Mache Entertainment are gone now, Mord/Snik/Push and crew are still around every so often

We have a Rob chat that is somewhat interesting to read
But in general, mostly not Rob focused much anymore, Phijkchu started in 2013 when he was doing Pokemon runs, and it's kind of just outlasted everything else
