I think you might be the first person here who cited LoM as where they are from
We have a lot of 2013-2015 era DvZ/Pokemon people, a lot of urealms live people, hell, a few people from old-old Rob content like classic urealms, super minecraft league, etc. But I genuinely cannot think of someone from LoM
Yeah I started playing LoM back when it first came out and pretty much grew up with everything lol
I was all over the place. main places were probably MQ for a bit and The Nether Ward
Only time I was on LoM was the PHIJKCHU plot (had a big ugly green phijkchu sign on the roof), or the one time I stole the christmas tree seat and was Log Santa for a full day much to everyones annoyance

I tuned into stream on a whim one day after a while and I saw at the top “lord of Minecraft 2” and I felt my eyes bulge out of my sockets
Its really bad
we played it for a bit
it is all grinding
90% of the server is people AFK grinding, and no one can afford blocks to build things

it costs about 1-2 minutes of work per block for the cheapest blocks, multiple hours per block for the better ones

I think LoM is/was a 10/10 idea for a community server
but without Lords (or some equivalent) and people making content of the server, it's hard to sustain any sort of playerbase
LoM1 wasn't a game, and it was great. The jobs were mostly there for rp and to get people to log in once a day and engage or w/e
LoM2 was designed to be a game, there are 30 types of XP, idling on the server is a necessary mechanic, jobs are an integral part of the grind, etc.
it's fun to check out for sure
but it's lacking the soul of the original

It is as if he flipped the extra part and the intended part of LoM
So the extra job system is now the main part, and the rp mess around part is the side thing
