hence why you fully pronounce the first t but the second is either more a d sound or just less pronounced/not at all

what I do hear is toronto english is crazy an unique, don't know tons about it but it's heavily influenced by jamaican and caribbean creole iirc

"the" to "da" is an extreme example, like yooopers and minnesotans do that. yalls example of tomato and twenty are example which better fit much of midwestern english

I have to correct myself when I said "duh" instead of "thuh" because my nephew copied that once and I was gonna feel real bad if he has a yooper accent lol
