Any time I move (twice) I always pick the shittiest fucking places. I swear, I'm so retarded. I'm in an apartment with all mexicans, and it's nice chatting with them, but fuck me. I wish racial stereotypes weren't true where mexicans just live in dumps and they're fine with it, but I got roaches and every room besides the bathroom has cigarette smell and I can see the open windows have a thick layer of soot.

Moving across country is a bit farther, but I would for sure not move into a place without either visiting it myself, or visiting it by proxy first

It gets in the way of police bullets. In Australia you're not allowed to carry ANYTHING that can potentially be used as a weapon unless you have a legitimate reason. Self Defense is explicitly not a legitimate reason. A man had to go to court and say he needed his belt to keep his pants up, before being allowed to use it.
