It would be pretty embarrassing to work for viasat in this day and age
them and intelsat are barely hanging on for relevance
also, ever since viasat aquaired inmarsat
their quality has dropped like crazy
Especially true for the satellite internet side of things, though they're actually expanding into the smallsat space reasonably well
But yeah, I do maintenance on their systems sometimes and I hate many of their design choices
Maxar is my favorite company in the space, though I don't work for them
L3 Harris is my beloved ground station manufacturer

from a pure architectural point of view, Maxar's bus designs are the best I've gotten to work with
but they don't go much into the microsat realm
