Replying to Rusp #rusp. im going to lose it i just waited a whole week for the first part of a four part assignment to be graded only with the comment that "everything looks great! you need just a bit more comments explaining your code"
wait your graders get to it before the end of the semester
the simpler my code, the more passive aggressive my comments get
I had a class where the professor just had a ratio of lines:comments required

Rusp, I think its highly possible whatever TAs they have do not know coding very well, so tgey want you to explain every line, even obvious ones

Since you are using python, this is actually training for the phijkchu games VN
Since lots of those are made in Renpy

Those services are always such a rip-off
You're paying for the convenience to not rent a small trailer for $40
But, I think they've vastly overtuned their prices
I think around here they're $40/day, but if you return it within 4 hours of renting it's cheaper

I am no longer going to be able to refer to my phys club server as "my phys club server". The current club executives have opted to completely destroy the server for no real reason. I will post some choice screenshots of that argument now:
What they did was delete the vetting role (I set the server up similar to how ours is) Here is the president not understanding what the fuck I am talking about when I told him changing it so @ everyone can post/read general chat is a bad idea
anyways the punchline is they are going to require you to link your school account to discord
which I am obviously not doing
It is retarded because its not a pure professional server, and I am not liking my professional account to my personal discord
Anyways here was my final comment on the matter
Also note that the server was fine, there was not an issue, and it has functioned as intended for the last 6 years the way I set it up
The entire active core of the server is pissed, so this will kill the server
who the fuck came in and took over the server?
New exec team, they have elections and replce it every year
I have worked with every single exec team mostly without issue except this current one
who is doing sweeping changes without even talking about it
Spooky remember that person I posted about who was unhinged threatening profs
ig I can somewhat understand the Discord server being passed on as "property" of the physics club
but I can't imagine being handed something you're not a part of, and deciding to jsut fuck it up
that person, who was a known issue, who acted up in another server, is the justification being used
