all of that data was manually gathered
except the dates I guess, I just did the sheets then of subtracting 1 from the dates and copy pasting it down
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Jh7qh2SFXQpeSkmhUUwTALpdio1cA77ztQ7nJD9STkk/edit?usp=sharing as per usual, if you want to observe or fuck around with the data, heres the sheet

docs.google.comAs I said, some of robs freakouts correspond to 1000 post days
but not all of those days are freakout days
Here's robs post count during the time I plotted
I only do worthwhile things
yeah no lmao
I can do you one better
I do not play games that require dice
in a physical sense
obviously I play things that involve rng
So, my worst grade was stats. I actually don't remember when you'd use a chi-squared test versus a P-test, versus etc
I don't think I can confidently answer that
Looking at the wikipedia explanation of the chi-squared, it looked like you would be able to use it for that
I have no idea
I am not a statistician
I know a bit of data analysis, but not much
Math is too huge of a field for me to literally know all of it, despite how much I wish I could
No, but I need to have at least some memory of specific parts of it (statistics) to be able to apply those parts
I really am limited with how much statistics I know. My expertise is more functional analysis, systems, and calculus
So if you were playing D&D and playing a barbarian with a greataxe(d12 hit dice, d12 weapon damage die, d12s are rarely used in a lot of D&D games outside of these two situations), you wouldn't spend ~3 hours doing a probability test on a die you were going to use for one character that may only last a few weeks, if that?
I would not do that even if I knew stats stuff more
thats just unfun sounding
I mean, what you described is anti fun, it is literally sucking the fun out of something that could be fun
I just did something tedious while listening to a podcast
yeah, which is why those people are retarded
and anti fun

awww they deleted my pikachu ;-;
hm
hit up the weed store at 6AM, to get ready for a job interview
great thinking Rob
Oh he’s getting a job 😮 is he giving up on online thing
Replying to sudo TPK #sylfar The reference: I was in a D&D game where someone spent a full session doing Chi tests on their d12s because they died, rolled up a barbarian as a new character, and proceeded to play it for two sessions before never playing a barbarian or using a greataxe again.
I actually do know probably a little more with regard to statistics than pika. Why the fuck would you do chi tests on a d12? Was this in person? Even so that sounds incredibly stupid. Also it soinds like the retarded kinda of over thinking something I would definatly do.
Yes, it was in person; he spent the better part of a 3 hour session rolling several d12s to try to see if there was one that rolled exceptionally well or exceptionally poorly, since he had d12 hit dice and he'd be min-maxing and power gaming to the point where he'd be able to have I think 4 attacks per round at level... 7 or 9? I'm not 100%, but he was planning on scaling it in a way that would lead to a massive amount of attacks per round
lmfao rob
we are actually getting to the end times
Replying to sudo TPK #sylfar Just imagining him as a gas station clerk, mouthing off to customers about them being Content > People, getting fired 26 minutes after his first shift starts
As long as he does not choke out a tiny black woman, I think he can manage!
