Epilepsy, when severe, can be extremely debilitating and cause permanent brain damage. I had a friend that could be bedridden for days after a seizure because of it, most treatment did absolutely nothing, the only solution doctors could think of that would have a high chance of solving the issue was surgery. It would've been extremely expensive to deal with for her, but in her case that wasn't an option because surgeons refused to operate because there was a high likelihood of permanent brain damage or death where they had to operate.

Like, I'm all for shitting on people for being super fragile and not doing shit about it, but that's twice in one day you're shitting on people for legit medical issues, one that can be caused be a neurological disorder(rather than just being a complete weenie), and the other that is wholly neurological.
