Only related in the sense that it's about role-playing, and also about someone who was a Z-tier internet celebrity that flushed everything down the drain by not getting his head straight: This is the exact opposite of Spoony when he did a Counter Monkey video on a Vampire: The Requiem LARP, where he came in as a Carthian and literally everyone else (besides one person that was Circle of the Crone and didn't really fuck with anyone) was Invictus or Lancea et Sanctum, and they tortured him until he converted to Catholicism.

Except in Spoony's case, instead of whining about content > people or people > content, he basically took advantage of the fact that nobody really paid attention to the shit on his character sheet, checked him for weapons(in-character), etc, and put like 10 lbs worth of Semtex in the bathroom and blew up the building(once again, in-character).

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was supposed to come out at the end of 2020, but as soon as COVID started they postponed it indefinitely. I think it's currently scheduled for 2022, no specific date.

His Counter Monkey videos(the ones on the Noah Antwiler channel that this video is uploaded to) were either stories from RPGs he was either in or that he witnessed while working at a game store, or him going on super long and long-winded rants.

For instance, he spent over two hours bitching about the D&D 5e player's handbook like a week after it came out, twenty-four hours after he got his copy, bitching about stuff like homogenization or lack of skills or a bunch of shit... while also saying 4e is a great game(just that it doesn't feel like D&D) and saying that his current game of choice(in 2014) was Pathfinder, which is guilty of a ton of shit he bitched about. That rant, was NOT very good.

I started with 3.0 technically, first book I owned was the 3.5 PHB(I was introduced to the game in... 2002? 3.5 came out in 2003), have played everything from BECMI to 5e(except 2e... somehow, have never played a 2e game, though I've used a massive amount of supplemental stuff, esspecially from Planescape), am fine playing all of it except 4e.

Rob, Noah Antwiler(Spoony), and Fraser Agar(from Awesome Video Games/Video Games Awesome) basically make a trinity of Z-tier internet celebrities that, in their minds, feel like they flew too close to the sun and their wings melted, but in reality they jumped off a cliff in an effort to fly to the sun, while not having wings.

rob's grammar and spelling has gotten worse over the years
According to him, it's always been this bad, but up until like two years ago he made sure to re-read what he typed and double checked spellings, then just stopped giving a shit, probably with a bullshit reason like "correct spelling is content > people, we should be people > content and accept however they spell"

For being someone who actually played pen & paper RPGs(not just talking about URealms Live, but D&D before that, the inspiration for OG Unforgotten Realms in 2006), you'd think he'd be aware of the concept of "Session Zero" and "Out of Character discussion" when it comes to RPing

That having been said, it's far from abnormal for this persist into late teens, early 20s, especially these days where people believe their opinions and worldviews hold weight because social media is so prevalent and everyone has access to a soapbox of potentially billions of people on their phone in their pocket 24/7.

i'm actually really disappointed by this one, i regularly walk close to a college i went to in the past, and the entire campus is still full of students smoking all over the place
