I felt Unforgotten Quest was a scam around the time URealms Live was getting into season 2 and Unforgotten Quest was still "in production" in 2016, but no, it was just sheer incompetence and ignorance on how to actually make the game.
it was never a scam
oh for sure, Rob stopped working on it years prior to announcing it failed
if he went to fundraise on it again, after essentially starting over for the 3rd time
then it would have been a scam
One of the only things Rob did right
was deciding that he couldn't be a full time game dev
because "when I finish the game, I still need fans to sell the game to"

"Neighbor" was, like, the only thing I could call someone that wasn't considered offensive or would elicit a sense of aggression if they're being a dick and I'm being mildly passive aggressive, then people had to be scared to say "nigger," then "nigga," then "ninja," so they went to "neighbor," and one day out of nowhere, I say "Settle down, neighbor" and I get called racist, like wtf.

I had a dream last night where i got in a really fancy passenger train. and while everyone was having a good time eating dinner, Rob showed up with a megaphone and yelled at everyone to stop having fun, because he wasn't. and everyone should level up their empathy stat and be as miserable as he is. everyone started laughing at him and then the dream ended.

slight devils advocate, phones are highly petitory and addiction machines. Many people are glued to them even as they go about their daily lives, to the point where they'd obliviously wander into danger or otherwise ruin their own lives
