he talked a LOT in his Patreon chats about behind the scenes work he was doing

but then abruptly stopped talking about it

when he realized it wasn't worth doing

the only protection he has, is on YouTube, which will remove videos that were uploaded by another creator (even if he privated them)

and if someone else tried to sell his videos, he could reasonably go to a court, and get an injunction, despite not having IP protection

Sea of Thieves is a warning for the kinds of games that will be made for Gamepass

where there's maybe 10 hours of content there on release, with a few token post-launch updates

billed as "infinitely replayable" because of some half-baked multiplayer

sea of thieves is fun on occasion with friends, but i dont see why people want PvE only when players are literally the only risk in the game

otherwise you'd just be grinding with no threats

its the same type of person as that chick who wants a way to skip boss battles

practically every endless grind game (warframe, deep rock, etc) has the threat of losing unsecured progress because without that you'd have no reason to get better and you'd hit the content wall way too quickly

I've not played Sea of Thieves since near release

but I'd have trouble imagining taking at nearly as serious as any of those other games

yeah, there can be strategy to the PvP, but the game was fairly mindless

well the seriousness of the game isnt really the point of that comparison

I meant more that, on the PvE side, there was really nothing to play around

the risk in warframe isnt pvp, the game has scaling enemies who can easily kill you if you arent good at it
