Yeah, Rob was frustrated about a handful of other things
But if they let him monetize how he wanted, for a project he (and Niso) were doing 100% of the work for

So I have a lot of thoughts on this matter
first of all

I should have screencapped it but I was looking at old drama threads on reddit about this and I believe it was arkas called rob an asshole who prioritized his own projects over mindcrack projects
I was never that into Mindcrack, so take my opinion for what it is
but I went from blaming Guude, to blaming Rob, to now probably blaming Guude more
I was more into rob. I think both sides did some unprofessional petty bullshit
even for as insufferable as I'm sure Rob was to work with behind the scenes for PMC
I have not put too much thought into who is more responsible though
I think it was quite literally 100%
they'd bring in others to consult with, to make them feel involved
but it was all Rob & team
yeah I 100% believe rob when he said "the mindcrackers would not play on the server" so rob was kind of forced into a corner for how to keep the server alive
I never once saw a mindcracker on that server

It was hard to say though I remember Guudes torch Tuesday about it. Engagement was definitely needed for the server to stay relevant (even though mindcrack would’ve died after a year at this point anyway)
but his whole angle has always been hoovering up the kids
