Rob had a self-hosted image host that used 4-5 character URLs
every screenshot auto got publichsed to his website, with a simple 6 character alphanumeric code
I think it was lower than 6, but I might be misremembering
So I made an actual dogshit python program in 5 seconds and accidentally pinged his server like 500 times in 10 seconds, causing Danidip who had it open 24/7 to notice

and we had one guy who joined and when we asked said he was in a timezone that lined up
I only know how to code for math, I was just curious how one might ping a website via python
I was also using the university of waterloo's webserver to do it, so he did not get my IP from this event
If Pika was saturating their network, then maybe it would slowdown, but it was remote for DaniDipp and setting up that sort of thing and catching it right away is insane
I am pretty sure he admitted he just has it open
its been years since we discussed this shit though
