They're not doing it because he was caught doing something. They're doing it because he was so much as accused. These random Mindcrack people probably have way less detail than we've dug up too. IMO that's what shifts it into virtue signalling territory.

A guy I went through courses with 13 years ago was being investigated for child related things... He killed himself... I go huh and move on with my day... But if I had worked with him all 13 years after and had thousands of photos together maybe he met my kids... Then yeah I'm going to be having alot of thoughts spool around

I don't know for sure but I don't think they do share tax liability - except that their finances are considered one pot of gold. And that a joint filing is signed or authorized by both parties which means that, not the marriage, is why they're both nailed.
