Labtech is an outlet. She shares the things Guude has done. Independently Labtech hatches this plan and maybe all he does it contact relevant agencies and tips them off. They run a honeypot sting, obviously not going to tell Jess or Labtech about their plans. Everything goes down, Labtech white knights in. Comforts her and tells her she has to leave, offers to help etc. And now if in ready to cuck Guude away. Over the next few weeks he starts doing more "speaking for Jess". With her permission he is helping her write and share statements and accounts. She cannot live in that house alone, it's too much. Labtech comes down to visit and help, eventually staying longer and longer until he can move down there.
