I literally never advertised it once.
It was just a personal project to keep that info alive.
I honestly didn't think anyone would even see it in the first place.

It's not like URealms is a big thing
Especially nowadays
you'd think that, but I'm always impressed how many people still remember/care about it
The weird part was it was only like a month ago, so the wiki existed for ages before he decided to go out of their way to search for it and take issue
I can't believe Rob found it, ig when searching up URealms stuff
he's definitely going to see this wiki again because while I'm not posting it @ him or anything, it will get around
it's sorta extra strange because when I offered him his wiki backup before (since he was justifiably mad GoDaddy screwed him out of his files) he didn't seem anti-wiki, just that he wasn't really interested in hosting it
did he mention anything specific on his page he was mad about? I'll have to go read it but I thought it was pretty high-level and basic
oh lmo, there are some funny history edits on this page near the end
There were a bunch of things but this part of the one he really had an issue with and opened the convo with.
oh ok, ngl I'm with Rob on that one
It's overly defensive (as someone who has changed my own site message a number of times because people take-away antagonism really easily)
it reads a bit like: Rob I know you hate your community/fans (and I understand <3), but please let us have this
It was never intended with any harm, but I understand people like to misinterpret a lot.
Hence why I updated it as requested immediately
well, sorta cool that he read your message to him and went out of his way to DM you
But when you've seen how Rob reacts to a lot of things, I still felt it was neccesary upfront
Now he's seen it, I feel it did its job as the core message still came across
mind you badly worded
Nah I feel that
But hey, what's done is done
Do you want a mod account on this wiki btw?
I still have some big site stuff that probably needs fixing I'll get to later today, but then you (and I guess anyone else here who wants edit perms) can have them
Also, I just 1:1 mirrored the card viewer
https://urwiki.phijkchu.com/cards/cards.html
can someone who knows how this is supposed to work tell me if it's obviously broken in some way
I mean I'll take it but you pretty much already have the complete wiki. Not sure what else I could contribute
As I said before, you pretty much did my job but better lol
But hey, I'm happy to contribute however I can
Nothing you want to change though? I'm not trying to sign you up for free work or anything but I assumed there were things you wanted to add to the wiki or change around

wait how is it broken? Looks fine to me.
I'll fix all the obvious stuff like dead links and whatnot, but compared to some of your fandom pages there's probably some stuff we could bring over that you wrote/found
also, my vague memoryof how cards were supposed to be embedded
when you hover over some of these links, it works fine because there's a 1-1 card link
Is the size on these right first off
(scroll down to belongings, those might work better)
and then I need to figure out if I'm just missing a bunch of cards on the backend
I might try feeding in Major's as well to build a larger set and see if that fixes things
You make good points
Also, can someone describe to me what the point of these https://www.urealms.com/players/justin and https://www.urealms.com/characters were
it's for player/character inventories it says, but were these just for the show that week?
or was there more there
Dead links for me
well, obviously
But I know what your talking about
and yes they were
It was like a sneak peak thing If I remember
But they never really updated them in the later seasons
yeah, for S2 I remember Rob doing a lot of work for different things he could embed
I still remember in the characters sections their was Porbo (the boss from s1 porc hunters) and they kept updating his class and inventory
Despite never being used again
Like he had updates as late as S3 I think
it was always something that bugged me lol
oh right, yep lol
I remember that now
They were a cool concept, but where the game changed so drastically in versions, it didn't work
Especially where multiple classes got axed
So just awkwardly smashed into different classes
But they also deleted their class cards and such on the website which was annoying while I was doing archiving
Also, for people who know a lot about Media wikis, I'm 100% if favor of not locking down any of the Special Pages
https://urwiki.phijkchu.com/wiki/Special:SpecialPages so go nuts
they're on the sidebar even

If I was more ambitious, I would have said the wiki (back then) almost needed to be completely re-orderd around Seasons
because of how much was changing
I'd be inclined to agree
Like by Season 3, season 1 things were so outdated and irrelevant
And most of it got decanonised anyway
So there wasn't really a need to keep it supported.
I would personally have had a tab at the top to switch between seasons as clumping all the info on one page is just a bit ugly
Even the changelog between seasons with spoiler text or tabbed text of what it used to be might be a decent middle ground
But would be a lot of work as most of the earlier season info was kinda killed wasn't it?
