Pyro was doing well afterwards, his community wasn’t just Minecraft but he himself wanted to go down a different path than YouTuber which he mentioned in almost every video and was actively working on quitting YouTube
Pyro's life is genuinely kind of sad
every time he did his yearly minecraft episode for a while, and talked about it
"Yeah I kind of just grinded work and gave up everything fun"
yeah even in his new Mindcrack episodes he talks about working a lot
A lot of people give bad advice along the lines of "this is the time in your life to grind while you're young"
and then you come up for air a few years later or w/e and wonder why you're miserable and aren't even that far ahead in life for the effort
it's one thing when you genuinely have a generational opportunity, in which case yeah that's your shot and you should do it
but it's been twisted or misapplied by far more people living normal lives and thinking they can't enjoy anything and have to think about The Future™

I am not saying that he should have kept doing youtube, I agree that he had no career doing that. I am saying his choice to hyper grind his real job at the cost of his hobbies and life sucked

He didn’t go to college for a degree so as he said built programs and websites to build up his resume
