Woah, this is the second time today I've seen someone ask "is this the INSERT SERVER HERE server" in a server I'm in. People usually never ask that question. The other server is one for the Black Company books
To be fair, the server is currently Ijikchu

Hard to say. On the one hand i have moved on from the old Rawb days, mostly. But it is fascinating seeing an old enclave from that time in my life
Like legit, I went from an unsociable 13 or 14 year old at the start of watching Rawb to a mid 20s adult with a job, girlfriend, house and dog
To be fair, we are also very minimally about Rob other than liking to talk about it with new people and occasionally checking in for updates (he does nothing now)
server is mostly just an independent culture (like bacteria)
That does give it some appeal
Can't promise much since im not super active online these days, but ill poke my head in from time to time
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak Yeah, its crazy. Phijkchu server was the only place with active freereign communication about Rob, especially in the last handful of years, so a lot of stuff made its ways here
So, I got to ask, does anyone know what became of deadbones? It seemed like he was the most fucked over by Urealms being canceled
He was doing school and working as a bouncer. After urealms live died he just went back to doing that. He came back to stream for like 1 week a few years ago, he basically described urealms live as "just Robs project" and clearly felt jiffed over what happened
then he disapeared again
Idk if spooky archived that deadbones stream, he might've, he'll let us know now that I am posting this when he wakes up

Ah, cause from what I remembered it seemed almost like he was putting as much effort into writing and world building as rawb. So he must have been pretty burnt by that to effectively disown it like that

looked for it and was kind of surprised I couldn't find it, thinking I was slipping
but I did find it in a random folder, I'll upload it
I did not set a recurring archive for the rest of his streams though after the 1st one, at the time he seemed like he was coming back to do his own thing and there wasn't really a point for me to archive his daily streams (same with Coe or Justin)
If I had known he was going to leave again after a week I probably would have

We know what happened. He was on a drug filled psychosis where he flew across the country from toronto to vancouver and was on hivequeens couch (he did not realize she had a boyfriend) when the urealms is being murdered video dropped
He talked minimally about being committed and what his time in the mental hospital was like
Said he was going to tell more stories, and then never did
He had an arc where he decided people would pay him 5 dollars to view their nostalgia
we prempted him though and launched Rawb.art just before he set that up (also almost no one became a channel member and he was missing most of the videos anyways because he was doing the reuploading manually)

I have a full* archive of the wiki content from before Rob lost the domain due to being broke and GoDaddy being a shitty webhost,

You can go back through this channel, but the tldr is there was no way to archive the MediaWiki .theme file for the wiki, so the formatting is capital F fucked. (There's also a minor issue with a couple of the old plugins that were never updated, but that's sorta trivial), We tracked down some of the original wiki staff to see if any of the three of them had the files, the two who joined here didn't and we couldn't contact the 3rd, though he is active on github unrelated to anything else.
This was a couple years ago, I did go through all the media files and there weren't any interesting orphaned files (since it was almost entirely fan-run) Initially I was somewhat interested in getting it back up when we thought we'd be able to buy the urealms.com domain, before Rob eventually got the cash together to renew his domain lease (but lost everything he had hosted)
I offered to give Rob the backups before as well, but didn't hear back
I think it would probably be possible to feed the archive.org backups of the wiki into an AI and have it recreate a themefile for mediawiki v1.43 or w/e
This is honestly a life saver. I've been trying to recreate the wiki from wayback machine archived pages but so much of it is incomplete or corrupted or just generally trash

I am going to be honest, as someone who has used fandom for the phijkchu wiki, I might suggest looking into other wiki hosts before you get too far
fandom is capital D dogshit
I am familiar (or at least was 5-10 years ago) with most of their systems, and it just sucks honestly
The only reason I wanted to use Fandom was because it definitely isn't going out of business or getting taken down any time in the near future
I just want to avoid losing the wiki for a third time.
Though if you have any wiki suggestions I'm all ears

I was just hoping to get a rough version back up that random people who aren't in the know of any of the stuff that went down can just look at it
soooo.... Fandom is shit for a ton of reasons, but it is easy and if someone else (you) is doing all the work than I don't have any real reason to tell you to use something else

the entire internet is trying to drop Fandom completely rn, if you weren't aware
but the alternatives aren't really made for small indie single-person wikis
(Miraheze and wiki.gg)
I feel like the real solution is using hyperautism to somehow fix the wiki template and just getting spooky to host it on rawb.art
but that is something I'd have no idea how to do
Honestly I looked into different options before doing anything. But realistically if I can get pages to files/files to pages then theoretically it can get uploaded on any wiki site that supports that
If the content can at least be saved, then formatting can just be adjusted
But hey, it's a passion project of mine anyhow, your archive is probably gonna be the best/closst we'll get for a while
