PKA used to be a good podcast, once upon a time they sort of got comfortable and then phoned everything in after a while Woodie (the host) got TDS, Kyle got bored, their producer stopped trying, they stopped being able to get guests, etc.

I use to be an actual podcast listener for background noise when playing single player games, and then every single person running a podcast had there brains shut down or made the podcast "my life during covid"

It kinda super charged a few and pushed everyone into a main few that could do anything and people instead got sucked back into streaming again mostly

People jumped from listening to something to wanting parasocial again

Mega64 started phoning it in a bit before covid and covid helped them for a while, but ya know, kinda dead again.

Internet itself has been pretty shit for the last 10 years though
