Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 and LoL? I think there was a semi official LoL thing going at one point, but I was more into SC2 so I didn't really go hard there
Very brief if I recall correctly. It was SO weird to see LoL brought up at all when I used to play.
doesn't help this server was deleted in 2020
I've not been in Phijkchu from the beginning or anything, but the Discord existed back in 2016-ish after Pika migrated people from Skype

so uh, that was back when Discord was REALLY hyper fixated on deleting servers & accounts for
1) being underage
2) being reported
and Umbreon thought it would be funny to report our server as a joke, thinking it would send the server owner a funny email
and instead it deleted the server
Pika, Fire, Max, and a bunch of other people lost their main accounts too
for unrelated jokes of being underage
never joke about being underage btw
idk why Discord has no way to appeal
but they don't
and you're just fucked
I was big into Element/Matrix being successful, but they fucked up on the dev side
it's still a good product
but it was soooooo promising at first

Replying to PhrogDor #froglandus2 Wild watching that Guude thing. I hadn't seen that yet. Sad. I knew a fair amount or assumed other things for awhile. Imagine getting that kind of money with that level of creativity and just pissing it away. *Snorting
Going to be honest, just saw the guude thing last night, went what the fuck, and wanted to verify. Reading through some messages here is wild. Glad I never dono'd too much to him specifically, maybe a few bucks if memory serves correct. Hope he's doing better now. I assume it'd be poor taste to openly speculate/ask questions?

And I only remember that because I lived in Kitchener so Rob saying that stuck out to me in the mind palace
and Kitchener is just a Toronto suburb tbh, since they moved apartments every ~2 years it wouldn't surprise me if he lived there for a bit
