WTF do they mean they're donating to charity
How can they do that if they're refunding everyone
Spooky, they meant the tiltify donation thing
the actual way they were raising money for chairity. Ticket sales did not go to charity, the event was 100% for profit with a at checkout "please donate 5 dollars to those in need" thing like grocery stores
I think they took over the event, hoped that they could undo the bad publicity (literally not possible) then when they realized they could not killed the event like they should have in the first place
