the part that's kinda bizarre, is that he wrote out a long document, saying Megan gets the cat if she vacates immediately

and you see it, it's all written out and Rob signed it

so he used it as a bargaining chip then went back on it

he kept a LOT of Megan's stuff, pushed her down took her key and locked her out

man that's fucked

but Rob's mother (lawyer) told Megan if she tried to get the police invovled or talk about the breakup publically

she'd sue her

sue for what? surely there's no grounds for that

I was a little mean to Megan when I told her this, but I felt pretty strongly That if Megan had a single friend or family member helping her she'd have faired 100x better

Megan is very stupid, so being threated by lawyer lady is scary

One of Megan's support during the breakup was Rob's sister

the breakup was messy, because Megan and Rob's family were on the same side at first

especially Alice

and then they all heel-turned the second Rob got out of the mental hospital, and all fucked over Megan

man that whole situation sounds hella fucked

and remember, they "dated" in some form for 10 years

and he lost his new GTA friend group over it from the sounds of things right

more than that

he lost all his irl friends

i remember seeing him playing that when i checked up on him some time

and thinking he seemed like he had chilled out a bit

compared to his schizo arc at least

idk if we'll ever know exactly why they broke up, idk if Megan even knows fully

Justin is still around, streaming on Twitch his personal life has been a bit bumpy, but overall he's doing good

idk if nisovin was ever a buffalo wizard but hearing about him getting fucked over in the play mindcrack stuff is so sad

granted, most of their lives are going just fine or they're better off

I think it was kind of a case where he thought he was bigger than he was, a couple ventures failed, and he decided to just hang it up

but he was of the generation that thought that way, ride the wave then leave the internet when its over

which I think anyone under 30 will think is an insane perspective (I sure do)

but for pre-internet people, I don't think they view their online life as being an extension of their lives

DB went back to school, came back to streaming for a couple weeks, and then bounced didn't really seem into it, and tbf he was mostly into the community aspect of it, never the money, the art/content, or being famous part

i think i saw pause do something with rob fairly recently

but pause doesn't strike me as the type to keep track of all this behind the scenes kinda stuff

I'm less anti-Rob than most people here, I think he's an asshole and wronged people in his life obviously

but I'm never going to begrudge someone for hanging out with someone they used to be friends with

I doubt Pause thinks about that kind of stuff too much

Rob was mad at Pause a couple years ago, because Rob and him were doing a DvZ thing together, views were abysmal so Pause topped uploading his perspective

i was really into his content as a kid so it's interesting to follow all this stuff

and that got Rob mad, and he ended the series (well at first he edited Pauses' videos for him, then canceled it)

i don't think it was very well known, but vechs was the reason shree left mindcrack

shree talked about it in an irc i was in at some point

vechs just straight up hated shree for some reason, and i guess shree wasn't invested in the group enough to want to deal with it

But if you're a pauseunpause, you're going to have your moment in the sun, then walking away from it imo seems like a better idea than trying to hang on to it and lose a bunch of money and time of your life

I just think for people who've done that generally things have ended up better for them
