imo not really, Rob's small-project mindset, effort+comedy+community on the internet

Im not gonna lie, i miss the times and the friends i made on this current run of DVZ/LOM but like fuck Rawb. Man is a piece of shit that hurt me personally. like i met up with this man in Vegas and he ruined the good times i had.

it's been that way since the OG forum days, when it was convenient for him he'd hear out what the community wanted
but when he wanted to do something different there was no consideration for the impact it would have

The closest thing I think in my time that I ever saw was the patreon calls be those you had to pay to be there
We all saw how he acted, and knew it was the trend, but I think the majority opinion for a long time was that it was an excusable character flaw
but it made it near-impossible to stay in the inner-core of the community, because you'd be getting blindsided by Rob constantly or have to bend over backwards to accommodate
So he'd burn out that centre, and then existing fans/community people would naturally fill in the gap as the old core moved on
when the community was big, it was less of an issue, becasue Rob was a very small part of it
towards the end, as things shrunk, it became harder to deal with and more visible to everyone
coupled with worse and worse decisionmaking on Rob's part
