he's streaming a lot less in general now
i haven't paying attention so i don't know if there's a reason for that
i expect neo-dvz to be a once every 2 months thing by the end of this year
i think he's lost his initial energy for all of the stuff
My speculation is that at some point he picked up a semi-real job in the past year or so, and that's eaten into his motication to stream or do community stuff
i wonder if he'll eventually give up on lom and dvz again
i can see it happening
I don't think it's cashier tier, but it also isn't big boy community management for Rare like he wanted back in 2019/2020
Rob likes being creative, and he likes game design, so I think they'll continue for a while (and a couple people throwing money at him prob helps)
I've not gotten the impression he's recovered much from his drug use, in terms of having lasting energy/focus for projects, but he seems kind of interested in slowly plodding along
I think part of him still enjoys streaming, but the unscripted community hangout stuff seems pr much dead after the recent schism

To be fair to Rob, there is no way he makes enough money regardless for his toronto rent
(aka, his parents are 100% helping him)
We could have saved LOM...

We did force him to have to change several game mechanics to hinder us
so thats a win
We made him do like four different changes to protect afk fishers
We may or may not be the reason he had to change how item pickups were handled, how afk fishing people were handled, how etc etc
If Rob streamed LoM and pushed for it hard
it would have succeeded
even with his much smaller community, he's got a real skill at getting people to come along for the experience, and could easily have roped smaller streamers into it
now that he's shown the low level of commitment and slow speed of updates though, idk what draw there would be to make THAT your rp groups venue
