in general though, I think modern Rob is sad to see, and I don't subscribe to the idea that his past work is tainted by the fact that he's a completely different person now
through drugs, mental illness, bad influences, and everything else

yeah so, that's funny, because he had all these plans to reboot everything
but everyone he was working on thos videos with ended up not caring and kinda bowed out
not to mention the views were abysmal
this was DEEP into the Rob was mentally unwell era
and he was thinking he was going to get 100k views on these videos, which ended up getting <5k
Pause even just stopped uploading them on his channel
(which is when I beleive they had a falling out)
he did GTA rp for a while, which got progressively more cringe, and then has fucked around in minecraft a bit with 3 different roleplay server ideas

Deadbones went back to school, came back a tiny bit in 2022/2023, realized he didn't want to be attached to any of the old Rob community stuff, and left again

what it is is that Rob does not consider business to be a win-win affair

were all the OG YouTubers/streamers/creators
and they all became MASSIVE

and then either left or sold their channel off

in an era where he was competing with the Game Grumps, but chose Blip.tv instead of YouTube

Ah even older than a lot of us. There are basically 3 main groups here, the old old people, the 2013 era DvZ/Pkmn people, and the urealms live people
Guess he just loved killing his friends
he trained a lot of the OG Newgrounds animators, who are now multi-millionaire gamedevs or animators
He played games with all the massive machinima YouTubers, was in WoW guilds with all these major people, who he encouraged to start making content online
