Spooky is busy, but weighing in because we talk about this way too fucking much A comprehensive Rob doc is not actually useful for people, it's an epeen thing for us and always has been If you want to prove to yourself that its not useful, spend 5 minutes writing out a list of questions you think someone could reasonably ask about Rob (Q&A style), unless you somehow think your list of 100+ questions aren't completely retarded or redundant, there are probably 5-10 questions that could reasonably have answers written against. if that needs to be a doc, knock yourself out. But anything more than that is just for our own autism
why are you talking in the third person

Idk, I think it could be useful from the angle of creators monetising their art/entertainment on the internet. Secondarily as an example of another content creator that's gone crazy, though it happens quite a bit, I think the Rob incident reflects back on things as a whole in an interesting way that could be interesting to people
PirateMan64 rawb
Of course, the doc would have to thought out if it would be of any interest to anyone, couldn't just be throwing things at the wall, which I can see like a million ways of it just becoming a complete shitshow
legorhin rawb
One of the LOM2 donors/mods banned one of Rob's friends for being a child predator and Rob then banned that mod for "witch-hunting" to publicly shame him
legorhin rawb
his community discord complained about it and they all got their messages deleted, and probably roles that block access to the LOM channels

I am wondering when he started the coke habits though
He really only started doing drugs (weed) when Pause got him into them, had tried them before but started smoking near-daily starting in 2014/2015 Rob started doing hard drugs (cocaine) in early 2018 through local friends in Toronto, and increased over time. Guude's timeline that he was doing coke while working on PMC is wrong (though that's not exactly what he claims, he said he found out about the coke later and just assumes that Rob was high all along) When Rob's dealer took Megan's side in the breakup (and the whole mental ward arc), I do think Rob cut his drug use for a while. Based on what I know however, he did start back up again ( though is now constrained by his terrible financial situation)

Rob's overall mental state has been fried by drugs, but his notable freak-outs we talk about have never been the result of a bad trip or loading up too hard

Rob has also talked loosely about his "Mania" diagnosis, and the drugs he (used) to take to manage it but in Spooky's opinion, there are other latent mental issues Rob sufferers from ,which get exacerbated by drug use

Is it certain that guude is wrong though? Maybe he knows something we don't?
Spooky Phijkchu rawb
if you literally interpret what he says through, he doesn't put a timeline on *when* Rob started into cocaine so he's technically not wrong, but the way he presents it is misleading
mint rawb
eh, I think spooky was pretty on point. makes sense that it would be hard for guude to know exactly when or what drugs rob was doing, it was. rob was in that decline that led to coke sure
Spooky Phijkchu rawb
in general though, I think modern Rob is sad to see, and I don't subscribe to the idea that his past work is tainted by the fact that he's a completely different person now

Yeah no I still go back and watch the old stuff on occasion, thats why that archive is so great. I just dont bother with anything new that comes out
