I disagree with the last sentiment. Rob genuinely was pretty funny
he gave up on being funny at some point which is why his content is complete ass now
we rewatched the first 10? episodes of the unforgotten realms cartoon, and that holds up pretty well
I cannot be assed to rewatch Rob considering how he ended up, but I will not claim his past content was not good
Rob lapsed on paying for the domain so it went down
we wanted to snipe the domain, but we did not get it
either Rob, or the company who was renting it to him is parking it I think
I am sure Spooky will clarify when he gets on, he would remember that more than I do

No, Rob has not made another forums site
he closed down the urealms live forums a while before the site went down
Rob is effectively done making things online. He is just coasting to his end while milking what little money he can on the way

Short term answer, Rob gave up on doing it because it was not a high enough return for the time invested
long term answer, except maybe Roman, everyone involved hates him

Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak for context, it took 5 of us, with stealing (he had to patch stealing because of how much we stole from afk farmers), 5 hours to get the second cheapest plot at launch (edited)
To their credit they did add a way to get enough for a decent plot pretty fast with the apples

The difficulty on make a full Rob lore document comes in the complexity of what you include
If you want to include notable side characters from his discord, there are a lot of screenshots and logs in this discord one has to go through
and I honestly feel like not including them would be a crime

Nuren made almost exactly the same mistake Rob made
overambitious project that if the devs put their head down and worked they'd probably have finished
but the devs wanted to make content as well, spent 80% of their time making videos/streaming to a small audience
and after blowing through the money, they couldn't pivot back to full-time gamedev
imo Rob made the right call at the time, not going full-time game dev (mostly because he already had an audience)
If him and Krysta not broken up (and Tom and/or Nisovin stayed to help) we probably would have gotten some tech demo out of UQuest at the very least
