unironically Rob needs to go back to his best state

this is the closest to his best state I've seen in a while
granted, I don't really care much about LoM2, but I was never really into LoM1
I liked dicking around in LoM1, but I hated all the people who played it
they were the least fun people alive
I remember the people on LoM being generally really slow
I know it was MC typing and all that
but I never felt like people were fast on their feet, and all their convos were just rehashing stuff they heard from Rob

I watched a bit more of his stream, yeah, it's weird to see a direct continuation of an idea like this
Even though LoM trundled on for a while afterwards, I associate it with 2015/2016
from the perspective of someone who didn't sink a lot of time into LoM1
I kind of feel like it would have been smarter to revive the original map, timeskipify it, and build off of that
rather than starting from scratch again
but in the end I agree with polu, I don't think it matters, I've not checked the IP but I suspect it's going to be hard to build a community on a server without Rob or any sort of Lord equivilent getting it rolling from the start
it doens't seem to be updating
