Not very interesting, but Rob is thinking of getting laser eye surgery, and might do a fundraising stream for it
he makes enough, not enough to be comfortable, but he has enough big donors to cover rent+food pretty consistently
they chip in on his rent to cover the ups/downs of his streaming
he doesn't earn enough
streams with whales he'll get $300-$500
without them it's <$100
that's factoring in subs/bits/direct donos and subtracts the Twitch cut
streams ~6/month on average
$1000-$1500 on Patreon

there were points where it seemed like he had gotten a part-time job
