I liked the idea of "overthrowing the Elven hierarchy"
Did Rob ever post the amount each event made?
You have to remember that Robs fanbase is and was retarded
Because if he didn't he could have fucked with the numbers and picked whichever was "coolest" to him
the things they liked and the things people like us wanted out of urealms live did not mesh

That was my thought, I wanna say I doubt it bc it’d likely get him in a lot of legal trouble but who knows
I wouldn't put it past him if he thinks it tells a better story
Ageless pre Bopen were pretty cool
I like the idea of a zombie-like threat

why don't you guys like bopen
I've never cared for blatantly overpowered DMPC's, and the forced railroading just adds on another layer

I like overpowered DMPC's when they don't appear often. But Bopen appeared in like 7 of the 10 campaigns in Season 3 and it tipped the scale so heavily to the Ageless side each time
Virgo appearing in New Crew was cool because it was an introduction to what we thought was the strongest character in UR at the time
Seeing the Birth of Magic in Deadlantis was cool
And then Bopen came in and undid all the work that made the campaign interesting
The senate of Deadlantis was great with the purge, but the best part is the ageless kids who count by dropping stones
Yeah they started to overload them at the end
didn't Yes King have like 5 of them?
Unnecessary inflation of the Order of Chaos, which at that point only had 10 members on it, they doubled and almost tripled that shit
It's another Bopen circlejerk
Killed Kallark in the beginning with no second thought
The only thing I like about Bopen is we called him being the sword day 1 which made Rob talking Roamin into attacking the skull cringe and annoying
I think it was Roamin
lol
Replying to Monslay #monslay Damn
yeah it was a big disservice to the character by killing them 20 mins into the campaign and not even giving them a satisfying end
Deadbones said he had "no care for him [Kallark]" which just made it hurt more because he definitely did

That was the peak of the entire series for me
Deadlantis was the only good S3 campaign
I remember the first three, then I stopped watching after campaign 4
yeah
I'm personally fine with the idea of "When the cast are controlling characters they can do shit that is far beyond their capability" because it matches with how NPC PCs vs PCs had been treated up to that point
but the exact way it was done and it's descent into bopen circlejerk was annoying af
The real problem with the ageless was it's forced link to Bopen's plotline
If Deadlantis hadn't gone down the way it did, and we still had the muliple factions of ageless with differing opinions? Would've been great
War was possibly the worst DD ever chosen
bopen would still be being Bopen even if Unity was chosen
he wouldn't stop being a murderous scumfuck pirate
One of the worst aspects of the ageless plotline was the confusion on the downside, which to this day was never clarified
of "Oh well when you die, your soul goes to the afterlife, unless you were ageless"
which was never explained what the fuck the afterlife actually was if it did exist, nor why ageless didn't go to it
and even that took like 1.5 seasons to get to
INSANE
