that's a big oof
am I missing where he's donating?
he only dropped $25 on the last YT stream, and $125 the stream last week
but everyone's talking like he's a baller
Not via Rob's streamlabs either

Another DvZ game it seems
odds are probably better getting into his Friday night games
since Twitch seems to be smaller than the weekend ones on YouTube

On telegram

Once the thread is unlocked, I wonder if any of the Rob fans will bring that up in the thread

ok, I've got a list of Rob's active YT members
he had double what I thought, at 41 actives
I think 3 are tier 2, the rest are tier 1
so that's ~$154/month
and he makes between $100 and $200 in direct donations per YT stream
I setup a YT API thing to scrape comments and can filter by membership status, when they triggered and all donations
it's all public info, but because Rob unlists his streams the public sites don't reliably scrape it
he's done 5 streams so far
wanted to wait for more than a month after the first one, to get a better snapshot of sub numbers
went from 14 to 62 after DvZ started, but 21 of them have stopped
probably signed up, saw he has literally nothing uploaded, and left
All-in-all, Rob's made ~1,000 USD off of doing DvZ for 6-ish weeks
so it's probably "worth" about $700/month long term
not bad for Rob considering what he was making, but not really all that great of a haul for 1.5 months
there is Twitch and Patreon too
what were we at, $1,100 on Patreon was our best guess?
and then Twitch he makes 200-300/week
His patreon was 1600 in july
So he's probably at roughly $2500/month
His rent was 1200
so 1300 takeaway (minus food and other expenses)
DvZ is the last pool of old fan money he has anything to extract from, it's a bit higher than I was expecting month 1
I'll track too see the drop-off next month and try to not double-count anything
there was some extra in the first month I'm discounting to get a realistic monthly number
I think $2500/month is pretty spot on
and that's what I'd measure against to see if there was a "real" drop
Gonna decline
yeah for sure
if there's a core that stays engaged, it's worth it to keep it going
That core is adamantly against gameplay-style DvZs
but yeah, I expect the same decline he normally sees with these revivals
Apparently "competitiveness" is their boogeyman
especially as time goes on and Robs lazyness kicks in
and the streams get less and less frequent
although, he could release his facebook video
I think some people are holding out hope that he's going to actually game-ify DvZ, even if its still just a stream game
I think thats the play
lmao Pika
I want it
so bad
