for context, this ruling was because Mississippi passed an abortion ban after 15 weeks (except if your baby is retarded or for health reasons)

Not just eventually; it wouldn't die out completely, but the advancement of the progress of production would significantly reduce the amount of people enslaved, because there would be far fewer people needed to perform different tasks, and it would quickly become more expensive to have many human slaves than fewer ones using machinery.
