I just finished day 2
it had kyles one friend, someone who was not streamed, and a black youtuber
kyles friend was the only interesting person who was examined
oh that day also had the opening statements
Oh rusp
you will love kyles friend
so, he waived his 5th amendment right
but was not promised they would drop charges against him if he testified
he just hoped they would
He is being charged with providing kyle the gun
he testified under oath that he was given no deal whatsoever
to be there
direct examination was mostly the prosecutor setting up facts
cross, they got him to admit that he called kyle to go to the other gas station to defend it (and also he said another dude made the call)
it was unclear
he went back and forth on who made the call
a bunch
cross examination was clean and kinda fun to watch
all the outbursts are the last few days
this is before the prosecutor made the judge mad
I think the judge threatened that because the prosecutor wanted a mistrial so they could try again
but the judge wanted to shut that idea down
so he made sure to inform him it would be with prejudice
yeah but the judge threatened it first
did he not
then the defense later called for it
I am pretty sure the judge threatened it around the 5th amendment screaming match
they lose, the only charge they could possibly have won on was the gun thing, and they won't win that
it was, the judge told him not to do something, then he did it in front of the jury
100% in bad faith
I love reddit during this
so half of reddit has accepted they were wrong
the other half is holding the line
yeah, publicfreakout didn't and most of the posts there were "kyle clearly acted in self defense"
I saw another on on r/whitepeopletwitter that was mostly "he is a criminal nazi"
which is expected
