I see stuff like this and cringe because I have no idea what the fuck they mean by quantum but I know it is most likely not physics
it's going to be cryptography related
100%
I hope its not, and they are just prefixing something as Quantum _
Trump releases the Quantum bond
A Quantum July 4th would go pr hard
Tie in with marvel, he is just advertising a return to the Quantum realm in antman 4
Didn't post about it, but fire and I nearly died, there was a shootout in montrael against the police (a month after we were there)
did that cop just turn around and kill a civilian instead of the shooter Quoting Breaking911 (@Breaking911 ︀ 🚨 HORROR FOOTAGE: TERROR IN MONTREAL - ARMED SUSPECT IN CAMO CLOTHING OPENS FIRE ON POLICE 💬 139 🔁 672 ❤️ 25.1K 👁️ 2.91M

Asmongold explains UK politics using WoW raid mechanics and loses it on a chatter ︀︀ ︀︀"It's a tank swap. Keir Starmer got enough aggro and people didn't like him enough. You fucking retard." ︀︀ ︀︀"You have two tanks taking hateful strikes and the main tank with the highest block value is tanking the boss. That's not how it works." ︀︀ ︀︀"Who is this guy? In Powerful Act Of Protest, Liberals Begin Adding Algae To Drinking...
U.S. — In a powerful showing of solidarity with the algae discoloring the newly-renovated Reflecting Pool, liberals across the nation have begun adding green pond scum to their drinking water.

Woohoo US backed middle east forever wars
No this time going to war in the middle east was 100% justified gent
it was needed
AI sucks. Hating it is not enough.
A jeremiad on uninvention and bitter hope
shaping.systemsThis is the most coherent and well-reasoned argument against AI I am aware of
I read every word
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 This is the most coherent and well-reasoned argument against AI I am aware of
I really genuinely mean this
I don't think I recommend reading it, unless you are interested in LLM discourse
Waterloo native
they're just like that
I am about half way through reading it
It is an interesting read
I don't disagree with the points being made, though I am more pragmatically an AI hater than most here despite enjoying messing around with it
I am as pro-AI and AI accelerationist as I think possible, but genuinely appreciate an opposing take that grants the premise "what if this isn't just going to magically go away"
and (for as far-left as they are) actually seems to rationally approach the question of what would be necessary to absorb it as a society
I think at the end of the day, the biggest points against AI are that it will, and is, crushing middle intelligent people into paste who cannot do anything more so then they already couldn't, and it is going to collapse the world because it is kind of proving to people that the entire economy is a lie and that 95% of jobs are just adult daycare
also it fucking lies about math and makes people do insane things, but that is more personal bias

This is really well said
no that reads right
it will, and it already is
I think a second comma might make it more clear
is the wordier version of it
I think about AI and stuff like this a lot, because I do see value in it while realizing that the world is kind of fucked because of it. Google search AI has helped me with assignment questions, not by giving me answers, but by giving me random suggestions on how to proceed that I messed around with myself
Being somewhat of an expert in my field of math though, I can see the faults in AI, and see why it is a pitfall for people who are not experts to just not know why it is wrong
its wrong is subtle ways 75% of the time
The level of protectionism we're going to see to protect intellectual/white-collar jobs
is going to make gas station attendents out of all of us
The plus on AI is, the race for infinite profits might kill IP laws and copyright
which is the correct thing to happen
I forget about if I posted it here or not
the plan has already been laid for that
which I think is genius
the US sovreign wealth fund idea
where, because some huge portion of these companies will be made "publicly owned", that they have a right to all public works
OpenAI/Antropic/xAI/Google/Facebook/Apple/etc are in favor of it because it protects them from the copyright bogyman
and Trump, Republicans, Democrats, and the far-Left are all in favor of it because it's one big bribe
I'm sure Nick Fuentes, Thomas Massie, and The Pope are going to be against it for some reason
Alright I finished reading spooky's article, that was a long one lmao
At least 40% of the length was artistic liberties the author took in writing it, but overall, I think it was fairly reasonable for most of the points
