Our state has already decided not to follow gun laws
So I have to drive to the 2nd closest gun store instead of the closest now
it does suck though, because Virginia had the best gun laws in the country (tied with Wyoming for 1st)
and now we'll lose our spot, even if in-practice the state has said you can pass whatever gun laws you want to feel better about yourself, we're ignoring them
Democrats also hate to be reminded of this fact
someone brought it up to the Lt. governor and he said something about how "Even if they don't enforce our laws, Republicans will have to live with themselves knowing they're doing bad things"
Virginia started it,
the governor before Youngkin threatened some stupid law, and everyone realized it was being written for the people in Fairfax/DC and nowhere else
and you can just decide to cite federal law instead of state law
