The head of Dunkin Canada is an anti-Immigration guy
wants to hire exclusively "real Canadians"
If he does, based
600 stores planned, mostly in cities as standalones
Tim Hortons CEOs need to be shot and killed for all their lobbying for temp indian workers
Apparently Quebec is their #1 target market, they've determined they hate foreign workers at Tim Hortins the most
or have the worst Tim Hortins by some metric that's unclear
Quebec being the most angry about indians would make sense
The french are the most protectionist about their culture as far as any group in Canada goes
Dunkin' Canada — Coming Soon
Canada is about to run on Dunkin'.
dunkin.foodtastic.caAs a guy who does not like Dunkin Donuts, but hates modern Tim Hortins more
Go get em
I don't see this succeeding, but it would be great it they force tim hortons to sweat enough to stop being such a fucking shithole
I feel like leaning into the Canada branding
is going to help them a lot
on-top of being better and cheaper
I don't like them because most of their coffee is White woman coffee
lots of flavors and add-ins
munchkins mog timbits
and I think they have a bigger overall menu of stuff they make fresh in-store

www.dunkindonuts.comgood news Pika
they have your frozen hot chocolate
you'll have to review it when one opens near you
Its not frozen hot chocolate
I'd be curious if it tastes anything like an ice capp
one of the like 2 or 3 menu items at timmies worth getting
oh right
ice cap
If one opens I'll order one I guess
I also do not drink coffee
Pika, google tells me ice caps are frapachinos
what is it you actually order?
(since we're getting whatever it is in Toronto in a week)
if you order an ice capp with chocolate milk, they make it with chocolate milk instead of the usual stuff
its not on their menu, its one of them secret menu items
thats what I usually get
the usual stuff being 18% cream, which is what a standard ice capp is made of
Replying to TinyBomby #tinybomby in fact, I don't know if there are worse places for doughnuts
I think it's less that Dunkin is bad, and more that 90% of donuts just suck
idk how to rank a standard, chocolate-frosted Donuts from most shitter places
Frapachinos looks like it has a different texture than an ice capp to me
I don't think they are the same
I've never had a frapachinos though
ice capps are kind of more like a slushie
actual donut stores >>> Krispee Kreme > an above-average bakery >>> Everything else
and all 3 of those top answers are honstly kinda rare
I have never been to a Krispee Kreme either
I will say they don't exist here just so you can point out I live right next to one somehow
There are some in toronto apparently
ig by rare, I mean there will be 1 at most around
unless you're in an actual city
and even then, they're sorta niche as far as places go
oh actually, let me update my list
actual donut stores >>> Krispee Kreme > an above-average bakery >>> Everything else >>>>>>>>>> Duck Donuts
I'll paint a picture
imagine a cake donut
that you soak in flavored syrup
until it literally drips like a sponge
and you're done
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak if you order an ice capp with chocolate milk, they make it with chocolate milk instead of the usual stuff
i refuse to believe you can't just ask for it without coffee
I don't understand the question
well its not really a question
at most places Pika, the "base" they use has coffee in it
I have no idea how Tim Hortins works though
phone a Canadian
