This was actually a good attempt
This guy is on attempt 250 this month of his goldeneye speedrun
Wait was the chemistry game you posted this guy
holy shit lmao
did not clue in
I think only Dialga knew
I didn't even know there was a shooting attempt
I guess playing 30 hours of randomizers over 3 days does that to a guy
But are you a fast sprinter though?
As you know, fat people are notoriously amazing at short sprints (something to do with kinetic energy and inertia) so probably
Why did he not simply roll as a ball into trump, crushing him
was he stupid
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 I think only Dialga knew
i didn't know when you first linked the game, but i looked at the steam forums and i was like "Hm, thats odd" then i looked at the news.

Lithium in Eastern States Could Replace Imports for a Century or More
RESTON, Va. — The Appalachian region of the eastern United States contains an estimated 2.3 million metric tons of undiscovered, economically recoverable lithium, enough to replace 328 years of U.S. imports at last year’s level, according to new research by the U.S. Geological Survey.

I am going to local politics post because it's also lolcow related

Hasan interviewed my former representative Cori Bush. She is hated by people that pay attention to St Louis politics because she believes she has the power to cure cancer by touching them and embezzled money by paying her own husband an absurd amount of money for security while she was in office. The district was worse off entirely because of her. She lost her seat in 2024 to Wesley Bell. Wesley Bell is someone who has done an alright job except he takes money from AIPAC.

Is the main AIPAC scam they donate to you to tar you with the zionist brush and accuse you of antisemitism if you refuse the donation?

Indiana just primaried out most of the republican state reps who refused to redistrict, maybe other states are noticing
Replying to Kribbles #kribbles1 In an optimistic point of view, I wonder if this downward spiral into gerrymandering every state will get people upset enough to do away with this. Maine does rank choice voting, which is cool. I know it isn't some panacea but
all of the states have a justification to redistrict now that the race based representation thing has finally been overturned

It's an issue of theory versus practice
Ranked choice should produce conditions for better candidates, but not if we still have a small number of seats and the monetary hurdle to run remains high (mostly due to campaign length)
Practically, the system also sorta relies on things being swingy, versus a pure proportional system
That's a democracy problem in general though
The most impactful change we could make would be to expand the house, which I think would improve a lot of these conditions and at least sorta serve as a release valve for how ineffectual congress is
Fixing the senate is another issue, but you need a working part of Congress to start from, and right now none of it works
States fare better when they're ambitious, but most governors don't do anything other than fundraise for their political party

Kinda sorta, but you gotta deport a fuck load of people first to ensure immigrants don't directly then disenfranchise the voting of the domestic population
It's a good point to raise, I just don't think there are honestly that many places that would end up worse
definitely more than zero, some locality where they dropped 10,000 haitians or w/e
but I think without expanding the house, it's hard to prevent districts from being packed, just given how many people are in each one now
I am talking about federally becoming exponentially worse because you have likely 50-100 million people who are of dubious status who should not be here. Counting them on census in such districts and many already voting dubiously would flood the system in a one sided way mostly due to cali, ny, ect
