I think the non insane ask is a retraction of specific claims. You can't reasonably demand someone donate money

I'm not sure how you could even fix OTA and cable TV
there are so many rules that are holdovers from 100+ years ago
it's that weird mix of private and public that makes it untenable to regulate
we really are lucky the internet was too distributed to centrally regulate or to be fully controlled by a couple corporations
there are a couple weak points, but compared to TV it's night and day

i do think its stupid and probably not 100% correlative
