It's weird seeing YouTubers who were old when they started, a decade+ later
I didn't realize this before Pika started cunnyposting in general
USAID has been completely closed, today
all staff are gone

what the fuck do they do

USAID was the big money laundering thing that elon and doge kept referencing
it was a US Cold War era global influence thing, used to launder money and destabilize countries
but after that, it became transparently only used for fraud, in the guise of "American soft power" or "helping the developing world"
I think there was a worry that it would be "cut" but not destroyed, and would silently just grow back to what it was
but it's gone gone now
