Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 I don't feel like he has done anything to warrent a ban, he's just being blamed for those Jews getting shot
its because he read the manifesto on stream

PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH
www.youtube.com
The comment section for the new military commercial are funny
it's 50% sign tappers and 50% vets talking about all their friends who died or killed themselves
Literally untrue
but funny

BREAKING: The Trump State Department is now going to issue visa bans on foreign officials who have attempted to censor American social media platforms. This won't just hit authoritarians in places like China, but also their copycats in places like Europe, whose idea of "democracy" is an oligarchy where dissent is censored or criminalized. ︀︀ ︀︀Another win for President Trump and Secretary Rubio. ︀︀ ︀︀www.public.news/p/exclusive-us-to-deny-visas-to-foreign💬 69 🔁 122 ❤️ 701 👁️ 10.8K
that's funny
I know this is pretty targeted at politicians in Europe, who keep trying to ban Twitter and Facebook
but the concept of places with zero free speech, being banned from traveling to places with free speech because they wouldn't "appreciate it" is just funny to me
Australia has the strongest one, with their Link Tax or w/e
if Google links an Australian news page to someone searching in Australia, they are required to pay that publication a not-insignificant amount of money
which just means all .au domains are filtered out
I know Canada attempted something similar, but I think they walked it back or it didn't pass
oh, no you're right Leg
Canada did do almost the same thing
but it's less broad, only applies to a smaller group of named media outlets
Replying to legorhin #jazardly didn't canada made it illegal to put news articles on facebook? (edited)
Yeah what Spooky said

I mean, if they don't pass the doge cuts in this budget, then yes they do win
and it's 50-50 whether that happens at this point
I thought about it for a minute,
I think; while this was always Musk's plan, and probably his timeline
I'm sure he's is frustrated how little support he got from everyone other than Trump
he had a lot of direct setbacks since the start of the year (not talking about stock BS that doesn't matter)
and only really got half of the non-doge stuff he wanted done, even with Trump's full backing
and the doge efforts were waylaid by everyone that wasn't Musk or one of his direct hires being incompetent
I would still bet on the doge cuts getting included, as part of some 11th hour deal
I would have liked to see Musk appoint a very public successor, as he's outgoing, ideally as a joint announcement with Trump
because I do think the perception of Doge being strong and a focus is as important as the actual stuff they do
federal cockroaches hide if they think they can wait everything out, and they'll bite and claw back everything they can as soon as pressure it let up
but if you continue to demoralize them like Musk has done, they will just give up and leave
lmfao
fucking grift
Already known that Arin was related to this
he ran the company they partnered with
0 from this
reminder the event itself gives 0, its only excess of expenses
so, they'd have to make the full cost of the event
and then, anything extra the charity would get 65%
assuming no other cuts existed
alternatively, the 35% cut is taken before the calculate profits
in which case they get 35% of all profits, then expenses are deducted, then if anything is left it goes to charity
actual megagrift
they moved it from Florida to LA right?
that's the headline I saw last week
Yeah it will be in LA, tenatively in October instead of next month
effectively CC3 is cancelled, and they are going to try again
Yeah, he owns a company called Real Good Touring
Which aparently does a bunch of youtuber global event tours
