🚨 NEW: Trump makes his comment on the Wisconsin election
twitter.comWednesday, April 2, 2025
It is weird that we're done pretending judges are neutral
that's my only takeaway
Replying to Wuvwand #loveland He got exempt from those? I guess that explains why people weren’t making as big of a stink about that as other things

🚨 NEW: Elon Musk to be reaching the end of his 130 day “special government employee,” status, which temporarily excludes him from some ethics and conflict of interest rules. Trump says Elon’s role in The White House will have to shift because of this and that Elon is looking to
twitter.comI personally don't think Musk will leave yet, mostly because he needs to make it to the 2026 budget cycle to actually finalize his cuts
if he's more/less invovled day-to-day, I doubt anyone will notice
less power over what?
I assume if this is related to whatever "ethics rules" they're citing just say he has to make additional declarations and he's no longer considered a transition employee
I do think the original plan was for him to turn more over to the Ohio Indian fuck, but he ended up flaming out so Elon's been more involved

Posting because math
wait yeah it literally cancels, I pulled it up
they have epsilon at 4 (price elasticity of import demand), varphi at 0.25 (elasticity of import prices wrt tariffs)
so this is literally just x/m - 1
Yes of course
I don't think this formula has any reasonable basis, at least I can't see why import export deficits imply they should tariff a country
also since they are tariffing everyone regardless, there should be an absolute value
Alternatively, the US should follow this to the T and reverse tariff if they have a trade surplus
I assume this is because they want boomers to have no idea what the fuck this actually means
because most people suck at math
They see this and think "wow, they probably had some phd mathmatician work out the optimal formula to make america great again"
or something
I agree with some of the things trump did, but I legitimately think the tariff thing is retarded
I see no logic behind it
Well, I think thats not going to work
he is just pissing off every other country
Putting them in place by needlessly impacting your own economy to own the libs
greatest nation on earth
I mean, if the end goal is full end of global trade
this is a means to do it
He is doing it in the "kill the baby in the bathwater then just make a new baby approach"
which is why I think its stupid
There are ways to do this without cold turkey tanking your own economy
