Regardless, there are things like healthcare most Canadians would not conceed on, and the US would absolutely not let us keep our healthcare being covered by taxes
I feel like that's how you get US democrats on board, say we're allowing Canada to keep their healthcare system and they'll think it'll help convince more Americans to support single payer

Trump is just trying to browbeat other countries into giving the US disadvantageous deals (for them, advantageous for the US), which I mean, fair enough that is what you are supposed to do for your country as the leader

I think Canada's only requirement is to the Canadian people, and any thing that happens to the US during this, as minor as it is (since Canada cannot do much), is not our problem
