ok, I've come to a conclusion
Vivek is a genuine moron
I thought he was more of a snake archetype before, but he's just dumb and wants to placate those around him
it's not self-serving, he just cannot arrive at reasoned answers to things beyond implying they're obvious
I was reading through his Omnibus budget criticism, and it reads like you gave it to a high schooler and gave them an hour to mark it up
